Multi-SitePAC automates the manual process of protecting remote data - without requiring changes to your existing backup systems or software. Multi-SitePAC seamlessly transfers backup data in virtual tape format from a remote REO to a central REO, where it can be consolidated, managed and archived.

At each remote location, the backup software transfers backup data to the REO with Multi-SitePAC, where it is stored in virtual tape format. Then, at a user-determined time, the Multi-SitePAC software automatically mirrors the data to the central REO. After the data is received, the backup software can optionally move it from the central REO to a tape device, such as an Overland Storage NEO tape library, for long-term archival.

But simple, reliable backup is only half the story. Multi-SitePAC also enables nearinstantaneous recovery from either the remote or central REO. And because your data resides in both places, Multi-SitePAC provides a simple, low-cost way to ensure business continuity.
